Welcome 2009 in Luxury at Burj Al Arab

This early, the iconic all-suite Burj Al Arab in Dubai has put together a tempting New Year’s Eve offer that those seeking a more exotic alternative to welcoming 2009 will surely find hard to resist. The package, which starts at approximately US$ 38,000, includes accommodation for 10 nights in one of their deluxe suites plus breakfast, cocktails, a New Year’s Eve dinner and drinks during the after dinner party.

The Burj is known the world over for its celebrations but the panoramic views of the Arabian gulf from your suite will wake you up even after a night of hard partying and take your breath away every time.

There is no end to the opulence that is the Burj. From the moment you check-in, which, by the way, you do in the comfort of your suite, to the minute you leave the lobby, the luxuries are afforded you in abundance. For the traveler who still wants to do some business while waiting for the party, the suites have an office area where a laptop, Internet access, a fax machine, printer and copier are provided.

For the leisure traveler, the possibilities are endless. If you opt to stay within the confines of your suite, which, in this case, is justifiable, there is a 42-inch plasma TV, video on-demand, a DVD player and 93 cable channels to choose from right in your suite’s living area. If you want to relax, there is a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Your butler can draw a bath for you using Hermes toiletries and Aromatherapy Associates bath oils. He will probably also ask for your choice of music while he’s at it.

If you want to venture out and check out the Burj’s other facilities, why not try one of the nine restaurants and lounges inside the hotel? Your suite’s own jacuzzi too confined for you? Then proceed to the 18th floor and visit the Assawan Spa & Health Club.

Take a dip in one of two infinity pools before you get your oriental massage from the one of the spa’s experienced attendants.

Since luxury and extravagance are the theme of this vacation, ask for one of the Rolls-Royce from the hotel’s own fleet to take you out shopping.

Or go all-out and take the Burj’s helicopter for a scenic tour over Dubai.

Is there a more lavish way to end the year and welcome the new one than this?
