This one has design but no valuable use at all. However if you love the way light plays when it hits something that has a lot of crystals on it, then you should take a look at the upgraded or as some would say, “Remixed” version of the Louis Ghost Chair.

Crystal Louis

As most of you might recall, the Louis Ghost Chair created a lot of favorable stir among luxury furniture buyers and art personnel alike. The Ghost Chair was created and designed by Philippe Starcks’ but now the revamped chair looks completely different with not a few but thousands of crystals on it. It surely is a new look, but not usable at all, unless you plan on torturing your seat!

The revamped chair has been rechristened as the Shapira Crystallizing Philippe chair. It makes a great centerpiece and you can imagine all the colors reflected from your chandelier lights dancing on your walls and floors. The colors are mesmerizing and will surely make you fall in love with this exquisite chair that just cannot be sat on..That’s a total irony!!!

Look at the size of these crystals, imagine sitting on them.. Ouch!! Yes that’s the sound you will most often hear! However if the money doesn’t mind you a bit, and you can after all consider it as a piece of art among all the extravagant art bits in your home.

From an artist’s point of view however the quartz crystals are mind boggling and when thousands of them are put together you can only imagine the effect! The designer Uri Shapira is an art student who has explored creativity to the hilt with this designer crystallized chair.

After the crystallized chair the artist now get complete backing from the Talents Design of Tel Aviv. Although the Uri Shapira Crystallizing Philippe chair is still yet to make its presence felt in the markets, you could soon pre-order your set.
