This is probably every child’s dream come true! As kids we’ve all dreamed of reaching the moon someday. The idea of going to the moon is synonymous with a lot of things, for e.g. freedom, reaching great heights professionally and personally and even giving someone the best.

Now you can literally go on the moon and around it as well, it is as simple as touring a well known tourist spot. This dream of travelling to the moon has become possible because of a few companies who have portrayed the moon as a luxury tourist destination area. This is one reason why people wouldn’t mind packing their bags, just for a hop on the moon and back.

Virgin Atlantic has always been known for doing the unexpected. This time around they plan on a route that will take tourists to the low earth orbit. Giving them competition is Space Adventures who plan on taking tourist around the moon. Beginning with this new idea they have already sent a few tourists to their International Space Station for a few days.

If you plan on being one of those tourists, then get ready to shell out $150 million. This is a weeklong trip that you will never forget. The experience will etch in your minds, and will be top of your conversation topic for years and generations. Obviously until the time, going to the moon becomes an everyday thing.

This project will take a while to conceptualise; you will have to wait for a good three or five years, for the first set of tourists to go to the moon. But we say, the wait is worth it, especially if going to the moon and back has always been your dream.
