Fresh and summery

This hotel is more like a large guesthouse and is quaint and classic. It offers the ideal way to experience the idyllic nature of the English countryside which is a kaleidoscope of color during the summer, the season after which it is so aptly named. The hotel also offers a more manicured experienced in the form of well kept grounds and gardens.

The hotel also offers a food and wine extravaganza for the most ardent of connoisseurs.

The suites are uniquely decorated and furnished with plush softs, inviting colors and Belgian linens. It’s opulent and stately and you can unwind in a residence that is truly fit for royalty.

Black is the new white

It’s situated in Wessex, which is Thomas Hardy country and certainly far from the madding crowd. It’s quiet and peaceful and you feel as though have been transported back a few hundred years. If the peace and quiet doesn’t relax you enough there’s a sauna and spa on site to caress your cares and stresses away. Wessex is also home to the Tess of the d’Urbervilles pub and the ideal territory to go horseback riding and hiking if you have a bit more energy.

Dorset is a south western English county on the coast of the English channel. The area has been known to humans since 800BC and Neolithic settlers arrived in around 3000BC. There is also anthropological evidence of Roman settlement in the area.

Dorset was also a popular hang out for royalty and nobility in the Middle Ages and used as hunting grounds. The area is completely rural and does not have any cities. The county town is Dorchester which has enjoyed this status since around 1305 at least, it is believed.

The coastline is part of the Jurassic Coast which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
