We did mention earlier about the mammoth strides Asian and South East Asian countries are taking towards the luxury segment. It’s not just expensive homes now that they boost off, but something that is rather unique, man-made and high on the opulent list.
Seoul has been working really hard to attract tourist, it surely now, can be called a hot spot for tourists with a whole lot of attractions and specialties that local travelers and world-wide travelers would love to enjoy. The floating island on the Han River is another draw for tourists added to their existing list. This is a culmination of 3 small islets that are all man-made.
Earlier last week the first islet was launched, named Viva, this one is quite huge spanning an area of 3,271 sq meters. The entire complex is a huge area that works to approximately 20,400 square meters, which is almost like a small township in itself. The building has three storeys with a lot of facilities that visitors can make the best of.
Recommended for business visits as well, since it houses a convention hall that can hold 700 seats comfortably. Other facilities included in this beautiful floating island are restaurants that cater to food cravings from various parts of the world, outdoor terraces, video gaming areas, parks, viewing points that are all around the centre. These are facilities available only in these three islets. Once the entire island and complex is up, there will be a few other interesting facilities added. It will also be huge enough to accommodate 6,200 people at one time.
This artificial floating island is sure to draw a lot more tourists to Seoul now and in the near future.
