   Lush Paris

Although one of the more “touristy” things to do on your trip to Paris, France; no one can escape the curious draw that leads them to the Eiffel Tower. This highly popular and amazing tower was built in 1889 for the World’s Fair and it also was in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. Built with iron by a man named Gustave Eiffel, this main attraction in Paris and all of France is one of the most visited icons in the entire world. One of the most amazing facts is that it was only meant to last 20 years.

Over 6 million visitors go to the Eiffel Tower each year in order to see its massive size and the beautiful lights it is illuminated with at night. Inside there are elevators which can take you to 3 different platforms at the very top. From the top you will see all of Paris laid out before you in its glory; overlooking the Seine River and the Iena Bridge. To the back you can see the Champ de Mars and the Ecole Militaire. Once you get to the top you can enjoy a glass of Champaign while you take in the views. Going up or coming down you may either ride the elevator or walk down the 704 steps.

If you go during Christmas or New Year’s you will find that there are even more lights illuminating this beautiful tower. If you search through the thousands of photographs of the Eiffel Tower you will see that not one is exactly the same and not one can live up to the beauty of seeing this glorious site in person.
In one of the most romantic cities in the entire world, the Eiffel Tower is a hot spot for marriage proposals, anniversaries, and even weddings.

Getting a hotel with a view of the Eiffel Tower and visiting when there is not a strong wind is the best way to enjoy the wonderful beauty of this marvelous creation.
Once you’ve seen the Eiffel Tower and ridden to the top and seen the most beautiful view of Paris, you will fall in love with all that Europe has to offer. Not only will you feel like you have lived a full and intriguing life, the sensation you will feel after viewing such a powerful sight will make you want to discover all that the world has to offer.
