The Midas touch now seems to have its extended hand over the best so called “budget supercar.” Yes this one is out only in the Middle East where everything is gold plated or leafed. But if you can handle your gold on a supercar then this one is for you.

It’s the splendid all new, all opulent 2012 Nissan GT-R car that has had the best makeover any car could ever get. The stunning car was unveiled in a recent car show and drew in a lot of Ohh’s and Ahhh’s.

The Nissan GT-R is not just any car that just about anyone can afford. It is ultra luxurious with its intakes and side-strakes that are plated in the purest 24K gold. This shoots up its price tag to an astonishing $220,000 all thanks to Goldschlager, who are responsible for the GTR’s makeover.

It no longer stands next to its once upon a time cheap rivals which are the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Lamborghini Gallardo, instead this gold plated version now sets itself several notches above them. Looks like its previous rivals will have to pull a huge trick up their sleeve so they could get on par with the GTR.

If you thought that was the best you could get, then look inside! It only gets better with fabulous interiors completed with opulent Seton leather interiors, and even has Bose speakers fitted in. Other interior specifications include a carbon – fibre rear wing which is from the Spec V along with a new diffuser.

The steering wheel badge lacquer can be custom made, while the quilt leather is hand stitched to fit its seats, and this was made especially in Germany!

For now the GTR is only available in the Middle East, for those in other countries, they will either have to custom make it according to the new GTR or wait for it to arrive it at their shores.
