Buying gold is nothing less than investing in some kind of saving bond, unfortunately gold prices are sky rocketing, and buying gold is now only a dream for some. The good thing is that a few places in the world are showcasing their gold wares that are truly luxurious, exquisite and stunningly beautiful.

Kanz Jewelry a lesser known brand has created something truly huge, and we do mean huge! Who would have thought of a gold ring that is big and gigantic! It does make a good show piece, since 63.856kg, Deira Gold Souq is simply impossible for someone to carry on their finger. This is the world’s largest gold ring, and possibly no one stands in competition with them.

Called the Najmat Taiba ring this one has around 5.1 kgs of 615 Swarovski stones by Signity Middle East, studded on it. Saudi Arabia’s Taiba for Gold and Jewellery LLC have created this magnificent looking ring, that has also made its way to the Guinness Book of World Records as well as the World Gold Council notebook for being the largest ring ever!

This ring has a 2,200 mm perimeter, the outer perimeter is 700mm, while the inside diameter is 490mm, the back of the ring is 500mm, and the bottom width is 250mm.

The value of this ring has been revised as stated by Anil Dhanak Managing Director, Kanz in the Emirates 24/7. This particular ring was priced at $547,000 way back in 2000, and now with the soaring gold prices it is now a staggering $3 million. Way back in 2000 the gold price per ounce was only $250, but now it’s worked its way up to $1,500 per ounce. Those who’ve invested in gold earlier itself are now reaping the benefits of prices that keep soaring and don’t seem to look at the downward trend.
