We’ve heard of royal weddings, royal lunches, expensive and lavish parties, luxurious trips and vacation destinations, high end watches, boats, yachts and the list goes on. But you never would have guessed that a dog wedding too would top this list! It’s no celebrity dog, but its an occasion they’ve probably barked their heart out on.

Lucky pooch Lola would have never thought in her wildest dog dreams that she would enjoy an occasion in her life that was so grand, humongous (according to dog standards) and was surrounded by all her pet friend pooches.

Lola belongs to Louise Harris of Essex, UK, and Louise as we can confirm loves her pooch a lot, and decided to hold a grand wedding ceremony.

The lucky groom was the Chinese Crested, Mugly, who was selected after a lot of consideration through a groom selection contest held on the Social Networking Website, Facebook. It was an arranged marriage and we do hope Lola gave her yelp of acceptance on seeing Mugly.

Lola had it all, even a grand wedding dress designed by Michele Ochs. Louise walked down the aisle and gave Lola away.

After the main ceremony, 80 of human and dog guests enjoyed a lavish buffet of chocolate fountains, fresh fruit, cupcakes, fudge and even mini doughnuts. The total price spent on the ceremony was a whooping £20,000, which most believe is a bit heavy for a pooch. Nevertheless Louise didn’t mind the expense at all since she thought of her pets as her children. Louise owns two other dogs who are sure to get nothing less than what Lola got.

It is a good gesture towards your pooch friends, but although they don’t really understand what the celebration is about, it sure must have been a gala time for those human guests who were invited. But we are sure the dogs had a paw-ful feast with those yummy goodies around.
