Monte Cristo Cigars

Lighting a cigar right after your dinner and charring it down while you sip your coffee, is the ultimate pleasure! There are several cigar brands in the world, but if you are looking for the finest and the best, then nothing comes close to the Monte Cristo cigar brand.

The Monte Cristo is a luxury cigar brand came into existence in 1935, after Alfonso Menendez got a hold of the Particulares factory. Here he created the first ever lifestyle luxury Monte Cristo cigar, of course the brand name was a total inspiration from the book, “The Count of Monte Cristo.”

Alfred Dunhill was the man behind the brands success, since he did ensure that these classy cigars got its much needed recognition the world over. For those who’ve tried the Monte Cristo cigars would agree that it’s the quality of tobacco that makes it so luxurious.

The cigars are generally handmade, ensuring that every cigar is a unique piece of art, with the right blend of everything that goes into it. However there are a few small ones of the same brand that are machine made, although they are not as exquisite as the handmade ones.

MOnte Cristo Gran Reserva

If you have to get your hands on limited edition Monte Cristo cigars that are featured in the Habanos Festival Havana 2011, then it should be the Monte Cristo Gran Reserva. Unfortunately there are only 5,000 boxes of these cigars that have been produced so far.

So if you like the challenge and wouldn’t mind the expense then you should try getting your hands on one. Rest assured, these cigars are a pride to have, the earthy smoky and sweet scents are worth every penny paid. And if you do get your hands on one, it’s only going to be a grand smokin’ time!
