Luxury Marketing Books Review

A marketer’s review and recommendations of a few fantastic books on luxury marketing. A few really great resources and I would go as far as must know for anyone studding marketing or advertising. Besides I have found some amazing insight here. Luxury market is an amazing animal that fascinates, intrigues and delights me quite often all at the same time. So check out a few of these books.

Luxury Online: Styles, Systems, Strategies

Insightful book with ideas for the digital world and I am recommending it to some of my colleagues. It is written in a great style but quite informal, making it easy to read. I also liked the structure of the book: “Getting It” and “Doing It” with some clear strategies. I think anyone who is interested in taking advantage of the Internet should read this book if they are luxury or not.

Luxury Brand Management: A World of Privilege

From Armani to Louis Vuitton, all you need to know about the luxury side of the fashion business. A fascinating and also insightful study of the various aspects of luxury management. A a powerful book for marketers, advertisers and brand managers in understanding the intricacies of the luxury market. This book is the benchmark for luxury brand management.

Selling Luxury

Spot on. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to practice the marketing and sales process of luxury goods. You will find this an excellent book to add to any business library. There are a lot of things on how to connect emotionally with customers, create the desire to purchase and brand experience. Great book.

The Luxury Strategy: Break the Rules of Marketing to Build Luxury Brands

Alright one more I have almost finished on the plane home from Singapore. From Jean-Noel Kapferer who in my opineon has written some really good, yet dry text on Strategic Brand Management and the like. This one is actually quote good and quite extensive and interesting. Luxury models for profitable companies, real tips from experience here. This book is far more solid than I expected.
