LushWheels: Mazda Kann
The design challenge winner at the 2008 LA Auto Show was none other than Mazda with their Kann design for a 2025 race car.
Competing the with likes of Honda, Toyota and Volkswagen, the Mazda design was selected for “how well it integrated a high level of innovation and technology into the design, as well as its truly unique styling.”
Mazda also has a patented electronic tire system which they have incorporated into the design for the vehicle to perform up to 250 mph without any harmful emissions.
The racing car will be competing in the 2025 E1 California races, where the roads have been planned to be completed resurfaced with a “sub-level electro-conductive polymer that powers the electric cars of the modern world.”
It really is almost hard to believe that they can fit so much power into so little space. The design aesthetic was inspired by electronic fields and organic textures found in nature.
