LushWheels: Audi R8 V10 & Geneva Auto Show

Audi will be heading to the Detroit Auto Show with a new and improved – and super powerful – R8. The 5.2-liter V10 puts out 520 hp and 398 lb.-ft. of torque. There will also be a part of larger dual exhaust tips and upgraded brakes.

Audi has had a pretty exciting year compared to other manufacturers, and rumour is that an R8 Spyder will be debuting in Europe by late 2009.

Still waiting on better quality photos of the V10 (so above photo is not V10 but regular R8).

Apparently Audi is hosting more auto unveilings at the Geneva Motor Show, which will be on from March 5 to 15, 2009. Despite some financial dramas happening in the auto industry these past few weeks, the major manufacturers should all be at the 2009 show.

The Geneva Auto Show will have a new ‘Green Pavilion’ which displays electric and other alternatively powered vehicles.
