Another beautifully redesigned hotel by Hirsch Bedner Associates, the Europe Hotel & Resort, Killarney is one of the leading 5-star hotels in Ireland. The renovation has taken two years and now the hotel boasts supreme modern furnishings and luxurious detailing.
“We totally gutted the existing space,” said Shoko Nishimura, HBA designer. As the hotel provides views of the beautiful Loch Lein, the HBA designers suggested that further augmentations would accentuate the panoramic views.
“Hotel Europe represents a breakthrough in innovative luxury design in this part of Ireland. It sets a new kind of standard for hospitality -there’s nothing like it in the region,” said Inge Moore, Director of HBA London.
The HBA team improved the hotel’s lobby, restaurant, spa and library. The spa features an art installation of “carved monolithic timber blocks, echoing design features from the hotel lobby.” Other features such as beautiful lighting patterns depending on the time of day are also part of the unique design.
