LushStays: Commonage Villas, New Zealand
The Commonage Villas in Queenstown, New Zealand is one of the newest and most exclusive luxury accommodation resorts in the Southern Hemisphere. For a getaway that is secluded, snowy and serene, you could not have found a more suitable sanctuary.
The development won the 2009 Architecture Award for the Otago Southland region, as part of the Residential Architecture Multiple Housing category. It was voted the “finest, most high quality and visibly stunning development out of all entries in the category” by the New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA) and a panel of judges.
There are 14 villas, each made of natural materials which fit the majestic mountain ranges and Lake Wakatipu landscape perfectly. “Outside and in, guests recognise the quality of the design and build, the attention to detail and their international appeal,” said Jessica Trimming, Marketing Manager.
The development was designed New Zealand company Mason & Wales Architects of Dunedin.

Love the cabin look outside and the sleek, elegant look inside. The view in New Zealand is gorgeous.
