Rumours had been buzzing about an “undiscovered” design by the late Tom Fexas before his passing in 2006. That he was working on a final beauty for the seas, a boat as revolutionary as his Midnight Lace in 1978.

Fexas’ intentions was to create “the perfect cruising yacht,” something to bring boating enthusiasts back to their original passions for adventure cruising.

“Built with SUV-like ruggedness and designed with swiss army knife versatility, she has what it takes to explore far-flung out islands – and the range to cross oceans.”

Out Islander 64 is now available from Ardell Yacht and Ship Brokers, one of America’s original yacht brokerages, and highly esteemed in the industry.

Since Fexas’ passing it was through the efforts of boating enthusiast Greg Sturgis and the Tom Fexas Design team that the Out Islander’s existence finally came into being.

The Out Islander 64 is a multipurpose yacht with three luxurious staterooms and “dual personality” as it allows efficient long range cruising as well as fast coastal cruising.
