Harrods have expanded their own pet department to 11,000 square feet (1,000 square meters). The flourishing Pet-a-Porter is now host to the world’s most expensive pet jacket. At £12,000 ($18,000) the ‘Fairytale Jacket’ designed by Swedish designer Ann Gardsby from Manfred of Sweden has 2,000 Swarovski crystals individually sewn on – an effort which took three weeks to complete.
Other Swarovski crystal jackets by Manfred of Sweden for your beloved pooch include the ‘Elizabeth’ (Above), and the ‘Angel’ jacket.
Elizabeth was inspired by Queen Elizabeth and is easily wiped clean. The ‘Angel’ jacket is made of silk and pearls.
Other specially-designed jackets are also available in leather and lamb-skin.
