Having just won the Best International Airline title from the Zagat 2008 Airline Survey, Singapore Airlines is certainly pioneering the skies all the way from ‘economy’ to absolute lush.
The A380 Suites are unlike any other flying experience. Reflecting the old-world luxuries of deluxe cabins from times when trains were at the height of glamour, the A380 Suites’ most obvious feature is the benefit of having privacy on an airplane.
Other than this simply luxury of having a door and some walls to yourself, of course, the Suites are equipped with a 23-inch widescreen LCD TV, with inflight entertainment Krisworld.
The armchair reaches 35 inches across, provides leg support and has been hand-stitched by Italian craftsman Poltrona Frau. With the seat there is also a standalone bed – no foldovers or anything of the sort.
And just in case you didn’t pack any, Singapore Airlines provides their A380 Suite customers Givenchy pyjamas, and Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries.
