From time to time, we hear stories that make us scratch our heads and groan. A few recent news stories are no exception:

Recently, Catwoman star Halle Berry secured a restraining order against Richard Franco, a stranger who appeared at her home on at least three occasions over a two to three day period. Needless to say, Berry testified in court of Franco’s bizarre behavior and requested the order for safety. In doing so, Berry is among several top-billing celebrities who have been stalked.

Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle recently landed Leonardo DiCaprio as lead in his movie, The Beach – great for Boyle, no doubt, to aim for a blockbuster hit. The only problem: According to actor Ewan McGregor, Boyle previously promised the lead role to him. And, to make matters worse, he hasn’t heard from Boyle ever since.

Fashion design mogul John Galliano was seen on camera hurling racial epithets at a couple while in Paris, France earlier this year. He pointed to alcohol as the culprit; however, actress and model Milla Jovovich rejects that excuse, insisting that substances like alcohol only bring to light a person’s qualities that already exist.
