It’s all about accessorizing now, as the point of differentiation between ‘plain and simple’ iPod users and the more higher end users who ‘must have’ the convenience of useful gadgets such as portable speakers with bluetooth clock radio functions and super sleek design. Out of all the iPhone and iPod accessories available from iHome’s new range, the iP47BR is at the top-notch.
The gadget has been designed to shield iPhone/mobile phone GSM noises, and thus airplane mode is not required when the iPhone is docked. The bluetooth technology enables wireless dialing and receiving when the phone is on speakerphone function, and caller ID is displayed on an LCD screen.
The 4 speaker stereo with Reson8 technology enables fuller, richer sound experience as you listen to your iTunes via either iPod or iPhone. The music may also be wireless streamed via PDA or computer. The alarm clock system ensures that you’ll never have to be late when you’re on the go.
T-Mobile USA has announced that it will offer its customers the latest, lightest and thinnest Blackberry smartphone available in its stores from February 2009. The Blackberry Curve 8900 has all the features you’d expect of a phone for an executive on the go.
Upon first inspection, it seems there’s not much else they can improve on in the technology aspect of it. The older, thicker blackberries could already host internet access, and a bunch of other tricks. Yet part of its technological updates is a Wi-Fi GPS that’s been pre-loaded into the new phone.
The camera is a 3.2 megapixel, and convenient allows you to upload online as an email attachment or into your Facebook profile. Video capture lets you play back the videos in a variety of formats. The phone has an impressive 16GB of storage – you practically don’t even need a laptop anymore.
Overall, for a new sleeker, lighter model of a handset, it really is an awesome little gadget.

In the 1970s, Allen B. Schwartz, the now renowned fashion designer with clothes in such luxury retail stores as Saks, was at the height of his game. (And still is, now). Neon lighting and bleachers in one’s living room was the most trendiest feature a home could have, and so of course, Schwartz had.
Now, in 2009, Schwartz has gone for a total modern makeover. Gone are the bleachers and neon lights, in come the sleek, mininialist furniture, a fireplace and some marble updates in the bathroom as well – apparently marble is the new ‘it’ thing.

What attracted Schwartz to his New York apartment in the 70s originally was the fact that it had a sunken living room. “It was so damn sexy,” he said. “I didn’t even care what the bedroom looked like.”

The modern bedroom is significantly more spacious with the installation of a plasma flatscreen hung on the wall.
In fact, the whole apartment looks much more spacious with a minimalist approach, plus glass and marble to add even more modern sophistication.

It took a $150,000 recreation of late artist Benji Okubo’s Zen-inspired retreat on top of Mt Washington to create this LA home. Not a detail was overlooked for full zen vibe and tranquil atmosphere, with cherry hardwood flooring, bamboo window trims and grass-cloth wallpaper.
Modern technology remains along with the other-worldly haven of relaxation, though, of course. With a double-door stainless steel fridge and modern borealis granite counters in the kitchen.
Three rooms in the home have a waterfall view – the master, kitchen and second bathroom. There is a moon doorway created by a neighbor’s pool, which gradually molded a clear-grain flat redwood circular shape. An indoor waterfall is also present; in fact a total of eight waterfalls exist on the entire property.
There are gorgeous and serene rockscapes, led to by cobblestone pathways. The home does feel more like a retreat than a family home, yet amazingly has enough space and the organisation of separators makes it very suitable for family living.
