Rumours had been buzzing about an “undiscovered” design by the late Tom Fexas before his passing in 2006. That he was working on a final beauty for the seas, a boat as revolutionary as his Midnight Lace in 1978.

Fexas’ intentions was to create “the perfect cruising yacht,” something to bring boating enthusiasts back to their original passions for adventure cruising.

“Built with SUV-like ruggedness and designed with swiss army knife versatility, she has what it takes to explore far-flung out islands – and the range to cross oceans.”

Out Islander 64 is now available from Ardell Yacht and Ship Brokers, one of America’s original yacht brokerages, and highly esteemed in the industry.

Since Fexas’ passing it was through the efforts of boating enthusiast Greg Sturgis and the Tom Fexas Design team that the Out Islander’s existence finally came into being.

The Out Islander 64 is a multipurpose yacht with three luxurious staterooms and “dual personality” as it allows efficient long range cruising as well as fast coastal cruising.

Luxury Bling: BYOB Luxury Bracelets by Pandora

Pandora jewelry allows you to relive a bit of the memories of being a little girl and playing with plastic DIY jewelry kits – only this time the beads are solid gold, silver and extremely precious gemstones.

Everyone responds differently to different imagery, and that is why a personalized piece of jewelry is so much more special than a limited edition by some artist that you don’t entirely understand. It is always more fun to be able to show off your own artistic flair.

Available in Europe, North America and Australia, Pandora jewelry has become “one of the hottest jewelry brands that the world has seen.” The popularity lies in their ability to allow you to create your own story. Have fun with the virtual jewelry design app here.

Pandora was originally found by goldsmith P. Enevoldsen in Copenhagen, Denmark in the 1980s. By 1999 the company launched the “Build Your Own Bracelet” option, and has been catapulted into luxury recognition ever since. Currently there are 46 charms to choose from.

Luxury Estate: Mark Wahlberg’s Home, Beverly Hills, CA

Marky-Mark” as we so fondly used to call him in the 90s, may be finally saying goodbye to the home he put up for sale earlier in October. Reasons for the sale remain unannounced, however Wahlberg is probably going to get a decent profit for the home, which he bought for $4.95 million in 2001.

Current listing price is $15.9 million, though some say that will not be matched in the actual sale, as he has been offered $14 million.

The property totals 1.4 acres, with a 15,000 square-foot house and a 2,500 square-foot two-storey guest house. There’s also a 2,500 square-foot gym – no doubt the place where “Marky-Mark” went to work on his crazy-toned abs.

A full basketball court, cinema and “Playboy-mansion-worthy” pool with waterfall makes this house the equivalent of a private resort. Oh, and there’s also a putting green. So it’s a bit of a private golf club as well. For the lady of house, there is a hairstyling station in the bathroom with a shampoo bowl and salon chair.

Re-Design of the Mecca: LushDevelopments

Rumours are sprouting that the King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia is commissioning a remake of the Mecca‘s mosque complex – a 900,000 capacity mosque at the center of Islamic religious culture. The project’s aims is to transform the Mecca to a structure of 3 million capacity, as well as provide “a new architectural vision.”

Award-winning architects Norman Foster and Zaha Hadid are amongst the 18 architects said to have been approached about the redesign. Though spokespersons from both have neither confirmed nor denied these rumours. Foster’s spokesperson added, “It has been leaked and not from us so I’m unable to comment.”

Meanwhile, whoever leaked this information also added, that the King would be presented with Hadid, Foster and the other designers’ proposals by the end of this month.

Other design firms rumoured to be a part of this great redesign project include award-winning design group, Atkins Design.

Norman Foster is a leading London-based architect and now head of giant architecture firm Foster + Partners.

Zaha Hadid has been the designer of many public space icons such as the Rosenthal Centre for Contemporary Art in Cincinnati.
