LushWheels: BMW 7 Series

It’s a car that looks like a classic yet the interior has plenty of modern technological perks. All electronic displays with black panel technology, where the panel turns completely black when the ignition is turned off. The result is a matt black surface that lights up magically when the start button is pressed.

“It is the most frugal full-sized luxury car on sale, and it has the lowest emissions. It’s good fun to drive and has more than enough space and luxury appointments inside,” writes Andrew Frankel for the Times Online.

Overall his review was about 4 out of 5 stars.

BMW claims that “The arrival of the new BMW 7 Series marks the beginning of a new era in automotive design.” Which era exactly, we are not too sure, as it seems like a pretty similar era to all the other auto-eras before… just with a touch more techie stuff.

LushDevelopments: Donald’s £1billion Golf Club in Scotland

Donald Trump received approval from Scottish council to develop what he calls “The world’s greatest golf course.” Much debate had been going on about whether or not council should have approved his plans as the land situates itself on a significant section of Scottish sand dunes said to be of scientific investigative value.

Trump said that the golf course, club house and hotel development will “improve the natural environment.” After much debate the Scottish ministers did resolve in declaring that the development’s social and economic benefits were to outweigh the risks of environmental damage.

Work has been scheduled to begin next Spring, and the construction bill for the resort is currently estimated at around £1billion.

Locals had emailed local Scottish councillor Martin Ford, expressing their desire for Trump’s development plans to be approved.

Trump currently has golf clubs in Bedminster, Canouan Island, Colts Neck, Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, Westchester and West Palm Beach.

Billionaires' Lairs: Where the World's Richest Live

Ever wondered how and where the world’s billionaire’s live? Here’s a peek at the homes of some of the world’s richest.

Indian industrialist Lakshmi Mittal lives in a 12-bedroom townhouse (above) in the posh neighborhood called Billionaire’s Row in London. He bought the property in 2004 for a cool US$ 128 million, which made it one of the world’s most expensive homes. Quite a sum but that didn’t even leave a dent in Mittal’s US$ 45 billion fortune.

Microsoft chairman Bill Gates was the richest person in the world for 15 years before he was dethroned. Best known for his entrepreneurial spirit that ignited the personal computer revolution, his assets are estimated at US$ 58 billion. His 66,000-sq.ft. home in Medina on the edge of Lake Washington boasts of a 60-foot swimming pool and a 1,000-sq.ft. dining room with a table that can seat 24.

Billionaire businessman Warren E. Buffett has a net worth estimated at US$ 62 billion, making him the world’s richest man. But the 77-year-old CEO of conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway still lives in the same five-bedroom Happy Hollow suburb home he bought in 1958 in Omaha, Nebraska. Despite his enormous wealth, this philantrophist remains grounded and chooses to live simply. Now that’s class.

LushBags: Michael Kors Chain Tote ‘Id’

This is a classic bag that wouldn’t be going out of style any time soon – by which I mean, within the next three seasons. With logo-embossed plaque and thick chain detailing, the bag is sophisticated, simple and yet regal.

For $1495, you can choose between black, white or “pool” colored. It’s definitely got plenty of hidden compartments and pockets for storing all kinds of necessities, and the handles and straps are short enough to be held onto by hand and long enough to tuck under the shoulder. Without any need of adjustments. Perfectly versatile and great for travel adventures in style.

The drawstring as a bit of laid-back sophistication, and the shape is great for adapting to documents or stuffing in some light shawls or cardigans. It’s definitely been designed with a luxury lady-on-the-go in mind.

Michael Kors is one of the most celebrated designers in America and has also become a TV celebrity with his appearances on Bravo TV’s Project Runway as a guest judge every week.
