Chocolate has always been a huge weakness for the young as well as the old. It truly is the elixir of life for most of us. Its uses are many, fondues, cakes, just plain chocolates is always loved. Imagine entering a place where there is a chocolate waterfall! If ever there is, you sure know what heaven looks like, tastes like and smells like.

People in London were in for a bit of surprise this Easter. They enjoyed a real treat created by Bompas & Parr. It was the most decadent chocolate waterfall that anyone had every seen. Taking a dip in it would have been rather extravagant, and we are sure the thought crossed a few minds.

This chocolate waterfall was a mammoth 5 ton and was installed right in the middle of the very famous Whiteleys Shopping Center in London. Catching a glimpse of this waterfall required every guest to adorn the perfect attire. They had to make sure that their hands were sanitized, and they wore plastic parkas, lest a few chocolate droplets stain their clothes. The room where the waterfall was installed was a funny blue, which kind of contrasted with the brown chocolate color. Somehow it looked like you were entering into an eerie tunnel.

But once the guests entered the room they gaped at the enormous chocolates that cascaded down the waterfall. The flow of this particular waterfall was at 12,000 liters per hour, which was what created the lovely froth on top. People who wanted to take a bit of the spectacular creation were allowed to take bottles of warm chocolate right from the falls. Of course this warm chocolate was highly potent and ready to be created into just about anything you wanted once you were in the realms of your kitchen.

It sure seems that the UK is celebrating lavishly; it’s not just the royal wedding, but even events like the chocolate waterfall that is adding to the influx of tourists in the UK.
