Exclusive Matthew Williamson Spring/Summer 2009 Accessories

Posted in Jewellery & Accessories on November 10, 2008

Animal lovers, look away. Most of this stuff is made of crocodile. Considered the “finest French croc” by the designer himself, Matthew Williamson has created a range of luxurious pieces of accessories as part of his Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Inspired by all things exotic, the above-right clutch bag will cost you around £1,600.

An exclusive red wine or nude shade version will be available for purchase from December 10 at the London Bruton Street store only. Located at 28 Bruton St, the Matthew Williamson store is quite an experience in itself. With bold colours, feminine furnishings, it’s a luxury ladies’ paradise.

As creative director to the house of Emilio Pucci since 2005, Matthew Williamson has won numerous awards in the fashion world, and is known for amazing patterns and play with colours. Williamson had designed limited edition Coca-Cola bottles in Spring 2004, based on the prints in his fashion collection that season.

Lois Hill Jewelry for Tommy Bahama

Posted in Jewellery & Accessories on November 7, 2008

Tommy Bahama is making much more than men’s recreational clothing these days. With a new collaboration involving jewelry designer Lois Hill, an exclusive range of sterling silver bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings are now available.

The price varies and can be up to over $300 for a bracelet. All the pieces were designed with tropical inspirations, botanical patterns and made bali.

Lois Hill’s designs have always involved researching ancient techniques and creations with local artisans. Her vision is about preserving lost art cultures – often inspired by Amazon, Bhutan and Tibet. She creates indigenous influenced patterns, as well as blending elements from other places or eras. Every piece of Lois Hill jewelry is like a souvenir from an excavation to a lost world or hidden jungles.

The partnership with Tommy Bahama seems like a perfect fit, as both resemble something tropical, exotic and luxurious.

The Tommy Bahama Lois Hill jewelry collection is currently available as a women’s collection in all Tommy Bahamas stores throughout the US.
