Daniel H Wilson’s work and experiments in robotic engineering have resulted in a number of editorials, books and illustrations that have been engrossing, humorous and thrilling in turn. Robopocalypse is the latest robotic story that has been penned by him.

In a detour from his humorous and light story telling style, Daniel H Wilson has churned out a book which is riveting and enthralling in its terrorizing detail. Daniel Wilson has written a story which is a very possible scenario where the entire mechanizations and computerized devices have been taken over by a superior AI in a bid to destroy the entire human race.

Robopocalypse begins with an account of the days after the great robot conflict where a human combatant is reflecting on the days before the war documented by Archos a renegade AI that kills the researcher who creates it.

In the ensuing days all mechanized and computerized controls are affected with domestic robots, mechanized cars and devices turning on their owners. The actual war is fearsome and chilling with the human race being killed with lightning speed with Archos at the controls of the entire operation. It is then up to the few shrewd and hardy humans who survive to fight the terror that just doesn’t seem to end.

This sci fi book by Daniel H Wilson has all the ingredients of a best seller. There is never a dull moment in this fast paced story that goes from one moment to the next with unerring clarity and momentum.

It is no wonder then that the movie rights of the novel Robopocalypse have already been bought by Steven Spielberg, the ace movie maker who plans on turning this book into a sci fi flick in 2013. The book’s fascinating tight storyline is a sure recipe for a big blockbuster similar to the book’s stellar storyline.
