Poble Espanyol or “Spanish Village” in Spanish is a wonderful place to visit and see a real old-style Spanish town. It is a quaint Spanish village with different quarters which model the style of houses and architecture from regions in Spain. This village within the city of Barcelona is very large but not so large that you will become lost in it or not be able to see all of it in a day.

It was constructed in just six months to coincide with the Universal Exhibition and was only supposed to stand for the duration of the Exhibition. But its popularity has given it a long life.
