Aston Martin Vanquish Gives You to Feel of a Spy

Posted in Exotic & Sports Cars on September 25, 2010

Aston Martin, a company that has been known for making a variety of sporty luxury vehicles, is at it again. The Vanquish is an impressive luxury vehicle that continues the company’s tradition.

The Vanquish is a relatively new Aston Martin vehicle. It was introduced as the vehicle of famous movie spy James Bond in the Bond film Die Another Day when it was first brought out in 2001. Today the vehicle is available to the public at a price of approximately $250,000.

While the vehicle does not feature the camouflage technology that 007 took advantage of this vehicle does have a number of other impressive features that make this something that stands out from the pack. The vehicle has a 5.9L V12 engine. It works with a six speed shift and a fly-by-wire throttle that is used to offer the best possible responses for the driver to use. A semi-automatic transmission can work as well.

The engine is heralded for being one of the most responsive engines in the world. A major part of this comes from how the engine features a series of cylinder heads with inlet ports that are fully machined. This is used to help with improving the airflow in the engine and its ability to handle fuel.

A big part of this vehicle is that it can come in one of two different cabin options. For anyone who wants a true luxury sports car a two seat cabin can work. For those with other plans in mind the standard four seat arrangement can be used. No matter which of these options are used a person will be able to get a Vanquish with leather trimmed seats.

The Sports Dynamics feature on the Vanquish is used to create a better driving experience as well. It features a series of stiff springs and short steering arms.

This is a unique vehicle in that it is not only sporty and luxurious but also professionally made. This vehicle is made by hand for each edition. It is estimated that only a little over a thousand Vanquish cars have actually been made since the 2001 introduction of this vehicle. This is a big reason as to why the vehicle today can be found for about $250,000 in value. It is a value that is truly worth it though.
